At the age of 14 Nathan asked his parents for piano lessons. He says he was visitning hs grandparents one summer and saw a man playing Gershwins Rhapsody in blue with sweat dripping off of his forhead and said to himself "I'm going to learn to play that song" Nathan has a unique ability to play by ear which has afforded him experiences playing professionaly for Nordstroms's, 'The Roof ' a 5 star restaraunt atop one of the high rise buildings in temple square of Salt Lake City, and he has played for world religious leaders, senators and the likes.
He entered a school wide talent show with an original song he wrote for his then fiance no wife who battles a series of terrible health issues, blindness, spastic quadrapariegic, and Nathan says she is a source of inspiriation for his music. Nathan won that talent show with a standing ovation, and as also climbed atop the charts at popular www.soundclick.com several times in the past two years above famed pianist John Schmidt who Nathan looks up to as an artist.
Nathan's commitment to excellence can be heard in his recordings. As you peruse internet artist websites and hear recordings of people who record in their bathroom, Nathan has recorded at the finest studios this side of the Rocky Mountains, ie Pinnacle Studios of Kurt Bestor Fame, Mountain Aire Sudios of Barry Gibbons, and LA East studios, recording on the finest pianos, and equipment as to bring out the unique sound of his music.
